The Laugh First Project was founded in April 2008 as a way to promote “faculty instruction that reinforces silly teaching.” Since then, its mission has expanded to “edu-tain” not only professionals, but the lives of everyone from children to senior citizens.
Dr. Trunfio is a professor at SUNY Cortland where he teaches the popular course, Humor Education for Teachers. He is the Education Bureau Chief for the Association for Applied & Therapeutic Humor, a member of the American Humor Association, and a Certified Laughter Leader for the World Laughter Tour.
